Who we are
Cornerstone Photography is a family owned real estate photography business based in Capalaba, Queensland. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" means Cornerstone Photography.
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
When you book a shoot or get in touch, we may collect:
- Your name, agency, office, email address and mobile number
- Property addresses, property type and whether it is for sale or rent
- Vendor or tenant names and mobile numbers, so we can arrange access
- Access notes, such as lockbox details or pets at the property
- Messages you send us through the website, email or text
How we collect it
We collect most information directly from you when you fill in the booking or contact form, call, text or email us. If an agent books on behalf of a vendor or tenant, the agent gives us their contact details for access only.
Why we use it
We use your information to:
- Review and approve your booking request
- Plan the day and arrange access to the property
- Send confirmations, reminders and your download link by email and text
- Invoice you and keep business records
- Answer your questions and improve our service
Photos of properties
To confirmThe photos we take are of properties, not people. We ask that people and personal items are kept out of shot.
We may show some images in our gallery and on social media to show our work. If you or the vendor would rather we did not, just let us know when you book.
Storage and security
Your information is stored with secure, reputable providers and only people who need it can see it. We keep booking records for as long as we need them for business and tax purposes, then delete them.
Seeing or fixing your details
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will reply within 30 days.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. If you are not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
